Santa Fe Towing 1965 Santa Fe Trailer Hitch Is 3" Too Low For My 2001 Ranger Ball On The Bumper?

1965 Santa Fe Trailer hitch is 3" too low for my 2001 Ranger ball on the bumper? - santa fe towing

I have a 2001 Ford Ranger 4cyl, 5SP single bed, and took only one of 12 feet (it looks smaller) 1965 camp trailer I towed to Santa Fe home with no problem, but the tow hook too low and makes the rear of the trailer visible . hang This is a bad way to tow? Is it possible to mount a ball is not in step "bumper" of my Ranger in 2001? I went to
Walmart and they had 2 1 / 2 inch "low" parts, but the hole "Castle" in the horizontal direction, which means that one part does not mean smooth bumper, where the ball is now .... Ideas please?

Better to get easily rack with a receiver the file to the proper height. You could try a trailer or driving sales of the company and see if they offer a menu with typical configuration for sale an extraordinary step, the game. Or a new language to be welded trailers to enough to build your step bumper to use.

Ideally, it should sit on the trailer is at 15-20% of the total weight of the trailer will be drawn on the clutch. You must install a frame mounted easily on your Ranger, then the "bottom" or a trailer hitch on the front wheel of the trailer.
